Microneedling with Dermaroller or Dermastamp is a procedure which is used to treat baldness and hair loss issues specifically male patterned and female patterned alopecia. It is commonly used along with PRP therapy. It involves application of a local anesthetic cream over the area to be treated, followed by treatment of the scalp skin using the fine needles of a Dermaroller/ Dermastamp. This stimulates the hair roots and leads to thickening of the hair. The procedure is combined with PRP where it creates microchannels in the scalp skin for better penetration of the PRP. The service is performed once every 6 to 8 weeks for 4 to 6 sessions for considerable results.
